History scholarships available for 2015-2016 academic year
Louisiana Tech University’s department of history is accepting applications for the Garnie W. McGinty and Travis E. Melton Jr. undergraduate scholarships in history for the 2015-2016 academic year.
To be eligible for consideration, entering freshmen must have a minimum ACT composite score of 26. Students already attending Tech must have an overall GPA of 3.5 or higher. All recipients must be history majors in full-time enrollment at Tech.
Scholarship awards are for one academic year only but are renewable if eligibility is maintained. Current scholarship holders are reminded that they must apply for renewal and that to be eligible for renewal they must have an overall GPA of 3.0. Renewal applications do not require letters of recommendation
