Music department to present ‘Sonic Explorations’ concert
Louisiana Tech University’s department of music faculty member Randall Sorensen will present “Sonic Explorations,” a concert featuring original music combining acoustical instruments with computer-generated sounds.
The program, with Sorensen on trumpet, will also feature soprano Lisa Maxedon, violinist Ann Sorensen, and trumpet players Scott Smith and Ryan Sorensen.
The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. Monday, May 2 in the Recital Hall of Howard Auditorium. The Recital Hall is located in the Music Wing located at the back of the building.
