Louisiana Tech ranks as a top university offering engineering management degrees
Louisiana Tech University has been ranked number four among universities in the United States that offer online engineering management degrees for 2017.
Louisiana Tech received the ranking in the “2017 Top Online Colleges for Engineering Management Degrees” list released by the SR Education Group, an education research publisher, for the University’s Engineering and Technology Management master’s degree program. The group ranks schools across the nation in affordability and academic strength in online Engineering and Management degrees and shares its findings for the top 25 schools.
The Louisiana Tech Engineering and Technology Management program has received several awards in the past, including being selected as number one among the “2016 Most Affordable Online Colleges for Engineering Management Degrees” by SR Education Group and being ranked in the top 10 “Best Buys in Online Master’s Degrees in Engineering” by GetEducated.com, also in 2016.
“I am excited to see the online Engineering and Technology Management program continue to receive national recognition for its value to our students,” Dr. Hisham Hegab, dean of the College of Engineering and Science at Louisiana Tech, said. “It is a great option for working professionals to further their careers, and I appreciate our dedicated faculty that work hard to deliver a high-quality program.”
The program is open to students who have earned bachelor’s degrees from accredited universities and is designed to enhance opportunities for mobility within an organization. The curriculum includes a mix of engineering and business courses to provide graduates with the training to be effective in technical managerial and leadership roles in business environments and the armed forces.
