The Louisiana Tech Concert Association (LTCA) welcomes the Russian National Ballet for an exclusive performance of “Cinderella” at 7:30 p.m. April 26 in the Howard Center for the Performing Arts.
The Russian National Ballet, which has been credited with inspiring young dancers from around the world with their technique, grace and all-around enchantment, returns to the Howard Auditorium stage for the first time since their sold out performance of “Swan Lake” in 2015.  “Cinderella” is sure to further the Russian National Ballet’s reputation for technical and artistic excellence.
In the classic fairy tale, Cinderella wants nothing more than to be freed of her torment caused by her larger than life stepmother. She is not only freed, but her expectations are exceeded by the magical Fairy Godmother with the power of two glass slippers.  The New York Times said of the Russian National Ballet’s production, “the ballet was deliverance,” and people all over the country describe the performance as passionate, perfectionistic, and awe-inspiring.
