Spring Parking
We are excited to announce the start of the paving of the gravel parking lot located at the foot of the Louisiana Tech University pedestrian railroad bridge. As a result of this project, a portion of this parking lot will not be available for the Spring 2018 quarter.
When finished, this project will provide a vastly improved parking area for both residents and commuting students. The new parking lot will open for Fall 2018 quarter. In addition to the lot, we will have a number of new pedestrian sidewalks, curbs, and improved landscaping and lighting.

This project will impact parking for residents of the apartments behind the baseball field. They will need to park in some areas typically used by commuters who are parking for class. The lots are located north of Memorial Gym and the big lot between Memorial Gym and Hale Hall.
Commuters, especially those having classes in Memorial Gym, Robinson, and Hale, are encouraged to use the softball parking lot and the big lot next to Cottingham Dorm. Other available lots are near the Biomed Building and a new lot at the intersection of Monroe and Dan Reneau Dr.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to improve parking on campus. When complete, this project will improve the campus appearance and increase safety for students, faculty, and staff.
