LTCA final offering of season, ‘Broadway’s Next H!t Musical,’ set for March 20
The Louisiana Tech Concert Association wants to leave you laughing with its final show of the diverse LTCA 2017-2018 season, Broadway’s Next H!t Musical, Tuesday, March 20, at 7:30 p.m. in Howard Auditorium.
For one night only, some of New York’s best improv performers, comedians, and musicians gather made-up song suggestions from the audience and create a spontaneous evening of music, humor, and laughter. One of the first things the audience members will do is make up a song title, put it into the comically large fish bowl, and hope their song title is pulled. The audience will then vote for their favorite song title and watch this outstandingly talented cast turn it into a full-blown musical with laughs guaranteed on every line.
New York Times describes BNHM’s memorable characters and witty dialogue as “hilarious” and as “a musical of, for, and by the people.” Not only is the show by the people, it’s also for all ages to enjoy. The show may have improv, but the laughs are real.
Tickets are $15 for students and $30 for general audience members. For more information about ticket prices, please contact the box office at 318-257-3942, or visit the physical box office located in the Arthur W. Stone Theatre lobby. For online ticket purchases, visit LaTechUniversityTheatre.com.
