French professor elected to CODOFIL Consortium

Dr. Dolliann Hurtig, professor of French in the School of Literature and Language,has been elected as vice-president of the CODOFIL Consortium of Colleges and Universities in Louisiana for a two-year term at the CODOFIL Consortium meeting in Opelousas.

Dr. Hurtig has just completed her two-year term as President of the CODOFIL Consortium of Colleges and Universities in Louisiana. As vice-president, Hurtig will continue working closely with CODOFIL Consortium officers to move the Consortium forward.

A future goal of the Consortium is to establish a partnership with Ottawa and the Association des collèges et universités de la francophonie Canadienne (ACUFC: Association of Canadian francophone colleges and universities) whose headquarters are in Ottawa, Canada.
