Louisiana Tech University is again ranked as one of the top higher education institutions in America, according to Forbes’ recent Best Value Colleges report.

Tech comes in at No. 159 in the nation and ranked second in the state among public institutions.

“Ensuring that our students receive an unparalleled educational experience is our top priority,” said Dr. Les Guice, Louisiana Tech President. “Part of that unparalleled experience is making sure the value is there for our students and their families. Tech students have access to research and internship opportunities right here on campus, and we know that these opportunities make a difference in their careers later on.”

Only the top 300 public and private higher education institutions in the United States make the Forbes Best Value Colleges report, a guide for those evaluating the return on a college investment.

“Most students and their families are interested in value,” Forbes said in its release of the America’s Top Colleges 2019 list. “The economic and social benefits of higher education are clear. College graduates find better jobs, earn more money, and suffer less unemployment than high school graduates do. They also live more stable family lives, enjoy better health, and live longer.”
