CollegeGazette.com recently named Louisiana Tech University one of the top 10 “amazing engineering schools as good as the Ivies” in their recent ranking of universities in the United States.

Louisiana Tech was No. 2 on the list, which sought to find the nation’s top schools for student outcomes and graduate success. The ranking made note of Tech’s world’s first degree in nanosystems engineering and solid education in all engineering fields, as well as co-curricular activities like concrete canoe competitions.  

“These schools provide cultural diversity, exceptional campus life, and most importantly, incredible career outcomes,” CollegeGazette.com said in its release. “To find a great education, one does not necessarily need to attend a top ranked Ivy League school. In fact, many of the top schools in the country can be found at institutions that are not household names.

“In fact, some of these schools have even better ROI than the Ivies themselves have.”
