Networking opportunities highlight Career Day this Thursday in TONK
Career Day, a daylong recruiting event that offers networking opportunities for employers and for Louisiana Tech alumni and students, is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, at the Student Center.
Career Day participation is a direct way to connect with employers and gain information about full-time, part-time, and internship availability inside of their organizations. Students and alumni of all majors are invited to take place in this free and open browse fair.
More than 100 employer booths will be set up in the TONK. Details about employers attending can be found by accessing your Handshake account. All Tech students have an account that can be accessed with their Moodle credentials at latech.joinhandshake.com.
Professional dress is required to enter the event.
If you wish to learn more about career opportunities, you are encouraged to participate. If you are a freshman whose resume isn’t quite ready to be given to employers, you can volunteer at the event and begin networking early. Assisting employers at the event allows you to interact with the same employers who will return for the next fair; it also gives you a preview of how a career fair runs.

The event is hosted by the Louisiana Tech Career Center.
