Auditions for ‘River Pirates’ scheduled Tuesday, Feb. 18

Auditions for River Pirates and the Treasure of Pointe Coupee, a swashbuckling adventure and intense treasure hunt set in 1806 and written by Louisiana Tech assistant professor of Theatre Design and Technical Director Dr. Jeremy Reynolds, will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 18 in Arthur W. Stone Theatre, located in Howard Auditorium.

Possible callbacks will be at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19, also in Stone Theatre. Auditions are open to the public.

For auditions, prepare a one-minute contemporary monologue. Headshots and resumes are preferred but not required. Business/Semi-formal attire is also preferred. Arrive early to be assigned an audition time slot. For more information regarding auditions, contact the Coordinator of Theatre’s Office at 318.257.2930.

Performances of the School of Theatre’s final production of the season will be April 22-25 at 7:30 p.m. and April 26 at 2 p.m.

River Pirates and the Treasure of Pointe Coupee includes adult content which may be unsuitable for young children.
