“We are very pleased to be included in the U.S. News Best Graduate School rankings,” said Dr. Don Schillinger, Dean of the College of Education. “The standing of our graduate education programs in this prestigious publication is a testimony to the excellence of our faculty and students.”

Methodology for these rankings varied across disciplines. For the six graduate program areas with the largest enrollments (business, education, engineering, law, medicine and nursing), U.S. News used a combination of expert opinions about program excellence and statistical indicators that measured the quality of a school’s faculty, research, and students.

“Our faculty, staff, students, and alumni have all played a large role in building a College of Business of national distinction,” said Dr. Chris Martin, Dean of the College of Business. “As our rankings continue to climb and enrollment grows, I am grateful to those who have played a role in the success of our program. Our graduates our business leaders who are innovative and analytically and technologically skilled for the global marketplace. These rankings provide validation of this to outside stakeholders.”

This year, rankings were based on statistical surveys of more than 2,125 programs, and reputational surveys were sent to more than 23,000 academics and professionals in fall 2020 and early 2021.
