Magner serves on faculty of inaugural LARC Mental Health Summit

Dr. Johnette Magner, Assistant Professor in the School of Communications, served on the faculty for the inaugural Mental Health Care Summit sponsored by the Louisiana Addiction Research Center. The event was a virtual summit for health care providers and young adults interested in health care professions, aimed at diverse levels of expertise from seasoned practitioners to LPCs, MSWs, Allied Health Professionals to students in training.

Magner presented “Unpacking The Social Dilemma Documentary: Critique and Commentary Clips” and moderated the “The Social Dilemma Resolved: Taking Back Control” round table for the event. The summit centered on suicide prevention.
