School of Design to host Annual Student Show in March
Louisiana Tech University’s School of Design will host its Annual Student Show March 15-29 in the FJ Taylor Visual Arts Center.
Current Louisiana Tech students, no matter their major, can submit work for possible inclusion in the show. Work must have been produced while the artist was enrolled, and a maximum of five entries per individual are allowed.
The School of Design has award categories for graduate and undergraduate work in the following categories: 2D, 3D, Photography/Video, and Foundations. Students can submit personal or class-related work in any category, regardless of their major.
Deadline for submissions is 11:59 p.m. Jan. 18.

This year’s juror is David Wolske, a designer, artist, and educator. His interdisciplinary practice combines the traditions of letterpress and printmaking with digital tools and design thinking. Wolske’s work is exhibited and collected nationally and internationally. Wolske’s work is represented by Artspace111 in Fort Worth. He is currently an assistant professor in the College of Visual Arts and Design at the University of North Texas.
Submission guidelines include:
- Students can submit up to five entries.
- Submission fee is $5.
- Communication regarding acceptance to the exhibition will be via email. Please do not call or email for acceptance updates.
- Suggested image settings for best possible quality and ease of viewing for juror:

- JPG file format
- sRGB color profile
- 1024 x 768 pixels for image files
- 72 ppi resolution
- Image submissions should not be larger than 5 MB per file
Accepted works must be delivered to the Tech galleries between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Feb. 21.
