Alumni Association to host Distinguished Alumni Awards luncheon
Louisiana Tech University’s Alumni Association will honor a special group of graduates during this year’s Distinguished Alumni Awards Luncheon.
The event will be held at noon Oct. 21 in the Davison Athletics Complex.
This year’s recipients are:
- Tim Brandon, Class of 1994 – Alumnus of the Year
- India Carroll, Classes of 1981 and 1988 – College of Business
- Adamantios K. “Diamond” Gorgolis, Classes of 1967 and 1968 – College of Engineering and Science
- Norman Hanes, Class of 1980 – College of Applied and Natural Sciences
- Cole Napper, Classes of 2009, 2011, and 2013 – Young Alumnus of the Year
- Larry Neal – Arlis Scogin Distinguished Service Award
- Adam Owens, Class of 2005 – College of Liberal Arts
- Skip Russell, Class of 1968 – College of Education
The individuals named as the University’s 2022 Distinguished Alumni Award winners will be honored during Homecoming week at a luncheon, in the Loyal Blue March and Homecoming Parade, and on the field during the football game.
Tickets to the luncheon are $40 per person and can be reserved online.
Louisiana Tech’s Alumni Association first recognized Distinguished Alumni in 1968.
