This month, Louisiana Tech played host for ACT Mini Camps for GEAR UP students in Neville High School, Carroll High School and Bastrop High School.

Cindy Wallace, ACT Prep Class Instructor, partnered with SciTEC, LOSFA and Louisiana GEAR UP to help students reach their full potential when it comes to the ACT. A total of 119 students participated in the camps.

Wallace taught the students by working with them in various interactive and hands-on activities. This approach kept students actively engaged in the learning process and resulted in great feedback from the students as well.

These camps allowed students to prepare for the upcoming ACT tests while also giving tips on time management.
