Outstanding students from Architecture, Interior Design, Graphic Design, and Studio Art were recognized in Louisiana Tech’s 2023 School of Design Awards in GTM in May.

The annual event celebrated the exceptional achievements of Tech’s SOD students who have demonstrated remarkable talent, creativity, and dedication in their pursuit of art and design.

“As an academic community, we recognize the importance of nurturing and rewarding our young designers who are destined to shape the future of our profession,” SOD Interim Director Dr. Pasquale De Paola said. “The awards and scholarships presented are a testament to the hard work and commitment of our students, and to the support and guidance of our faculty members. They represent a commitment to excellence in design, and a recognition of the potential of our students to make a significant impact in the field.

“As we honor the achievements of our students, we also pay tribute to the generosity of our sponsors, whose support has made these awards and scholarships possible,” he said. “Their investment in the future of design is an investment in the future of our society.”

The generosity of sponsors resulted in a total amount of $44,791.49 in scholarship funds earned by students.
