Louisiana Tech University’s 2023 Homecoming celebrations will take place the week of Nov. 6-12 with a new name to encompass the heart of homecoming, “Love the Legacy”.

Legacy is defined as “the long-lasting impact of particular events, actions, etc. that took place in the past, or of a person’s life”.

If someone loves something, they continuously go back to it no matter the distance or time. Tech alumni express their love for the University and the impact the campus community, faculty and staff, and long-lasting memories have made on their lives by carrying on the Louisiana Tech legacy.

Homecoming is a time when the Tech family can come together to embrace their love, passion, and pride for Tech through celebration. The week’s events will offer a wide variety of fun for all ages like the Class of 1973 Reunion, Breakfast with Champ, and the annual Homecoming Parade honoring the 2023 Distinguished Alumni and Homecoming Court.

“Homecoming has and will always be a special time on Louisiana Tech’s campus,” Dr. Les Guice, University President said. “Honoring this tradition with a new brand identity that pays tribute to the love our campus community feels for the legacy of Louisiana Tech will instill a greater sense of pride and enthusiasm for generations of Bulldogs to come.”
