Internships

Internships

Each year, the College of Business offers students real-world job experience through our internship program. This hands-on practice is priceless in enriching education and allows students to dive deeper by applying theoretical principles to first-hand job practices. Students can gain a better understanding of business, develop transferable skills, and earn compensation and academic credit. By learning from some of the best in the business, students can make important networking connections, increase their marketability and make more informed career decisions.

Sustainable Supply Chain Management Major, Intern at Nissan North America’s Headquarters
Through his role on the Customs and Trade Team, Dylan mapped data across manufacturing processes, supplier systems, and Nissan’s internal platforms to identify breakdowns, and analyzed movement of industrial returnable racks within their internal trade lanes to uncover inefficiencies and reduce waste. Beyond the office, he toured Nissan’s Smyrna Manufacturing Plant, visited their International Logistics Center, met with their customs broker, and explored the Lane Motor Museum.
