K-12 Teacher Micro-credentials

SciTEC STEM

Computer Science and STEM Grades K-5

This micro-credential is broken into three online modules: computational thinking, engineering design process, and project-based learning. With successful completion of these modules, you can add the Computer Science & STEM add-on to your Louisiana teaching certificate.

Launching Fall 2026

This micro-credential is designed to support middle and high school educators as they develop the knowledge, skills, and instructional strategies needed to implement the Louisiana Computer Science Standards with confidence and purpose.
