We take great pride in the exceptional quality of our research, as reflected in the peer-reviewed publications that report our discoveries and innovations, and the competitive external funding we secure to support that research. Nearly everything we do involves our students.
One of the distinguishing characteristics of our research enterprise is our deeply ingrained culture of collaboration within and across the academic and research units. Our research centers provide the infrastructure to conduct world-class research in a range of topics like traumatic brain injury, catalysts for energy applications, underground infrastructure installation, and more.
The integration of our research enterprise with the academic mission of the University has resulted in curricula that meet critical needs through industrial partnerships. Many of our industry partners have locations on our campus so as to gain ready access to both our students and our researchers.
