Enterprise Campus
Louisiana Tech’s Enterprise Campus is a master-planned development with leading-edge infrastructure, facilities, and staff to support the recruitment, retention, and expansion of high-growth, technology-based businesses that attract highly skilled, innovative employees. Tenant companies have formal and informal relationships with the research and development, technology transfer, and education activities of the University. The University provides tenant companies with linkages to its comprehensive set of business development and support resources including entrepreneurial development, venture startup, incubation, growth and expansion.
The Enterprise Campus Masterplan calls for a highly functional and attractive work environment for tenants and is based on principles of planning and architecture that work together to create a human-scale, walkable, densely populated community.
Louisiana Tech University—a leader among universities in technology commercialization and innovative private partnerships—has established its position as a generator of and magnet for emerging technology companies in the fields of information technology, micro/nano-systems, biotechnology, digital media, engineering and design. The University influences technology development along the I-20 Innovation Corridor between Shreveport and Monroe, where there are nearly 400 technology companies within an hour’s drive of the University. Regional partners to the University driving research and innovation include CenturyLink, Computer Sciences Corporation, IBM, Fenway Group, Barksdale Air Force Base, the Cyber Innovation Center, Radiance Technologies, the National Cyber Research Park, the Biomedical Research Foundation of Northwest Louisiana, and the Intertech Science Park, among others.
