The Department of Kinesiology at Louisiana Tech University, housed within the College of Education, offers the Bachelor of Science degree with concentrations in Health & Physical Education (Teacher Education) and Kinesiology & Health Promotion and the Master of Science degree with concentrations in Adapted Physical Education, Exercise Science and Sports Performance.

Dedicated to excellence, the Department is a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association and is a charter member of the American Kinesiology Association. Our faculty are highly qualified teachers and researchers who are engaged in the study of physical activity from a variety of perspectives. Faculty work closely with students in academic advising as well as academic preparation. Our goal is to prepare well educated professionals who can and will contribute positively in their chosen career paths.
