The Department of Kinesiology is housed within the College of Education. The Department offers the Bachelor of Science degree with concentrations in Health & Physical Education (Teacher Education) and Kinesiology & Health Promotion and the Master of Science degree with concentrations in Adapted Physical Education, Exercise Science and Sports Performance.

Departmental faculty are highly qualified teachers and researchers who are engaged in the study of physical activity from a variety of perspectives. Faculty work closely with students in academic advising as well as academic preparation. Our goal is to prepare well educated professionals who can and will contribute positively in their chosen career paths.
