Time out for Tech approaches

Apr 22, 2014 | General News

The countdown until the Time out for Tech event is ticking away as the calendar approaches Saturday, April 26.
Louisiana Tech will host high school juniors and seniors who will view the campus, visit the academic departments of their possible major and learn what it means to be a Tech bulldog.
“We will be expecting 800 people,” Andy Cline, director of orientation and special programs, said.
A lot of preparation is underway for prospective students and their families coming to the event.
“The major planning is done within my office,” Cline said. “Once we establish our plan, we reach out to other departments for support. Faculty and staff help with all aspects of the day. The staff will help check-in, give residence hall tours, and present on student life and financial aid.”
For more information about the event, contact Cline at 318-257-3036.
