Nursing students pinned in winter ceremony

Twenty-three Louisiana Tech nursing graduates were pinned during the Division of Nursing’s winter pinning ceremony held in Howard Auditorium.
Several of the new graduates were honored during the ceremony. Those awarded were:
Ashley Archer, of Ruston — the Ruston District Nurses Award and a Clinical Award
Sharee Encalade of Harvey — Student Nurse Association Award
Chris Smith, of Ruston — Academic Excellence Award and Faculty Award
Holly DeJean, of West Monroe; Jasmine Young, of Ruston; and Landry Glover, of Monroe — Clinical Awards
Jon Simmons, of Minden, and Randy Massey, of Summerfield — Military Honor Recognition
Other students who were pinned are listed by their hometowns.

Additionally, Erin and Jon Simmons were recognized as the first father-daughter combination in the same graduating class.
