BARC COMMons
The BARC COMMons at Louisiana Tech University is a communication and collaboration workspace for all students.
The BARC COMMons was started in the Fall 2016 as part of the Quality Enhancement Plan’s Blue Fire initiative, along with the First Year Experience and Communication 101. These three pieces were designed to enhance communication skills of our first year students and beyond. We look forward to working with you at the BARC COMMons!
Located at 210 Davison Hall, BARC COMMons is a place to collaborate with your group or work with a communication specialist on:
- Speech anxiety
- Brainstorming topics
- Organizing ideas
- Delivery
- Visual aids
- Communication workshops
- Project group set up
- And more
Take your presentation to the next level with our help! The BARC COMMons is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 8 a.m. to noon on Friday.
