Attendance
The Louisiana Tech University Financial Aid Office is required to administer a return of federal student aid funds policy that complies with the Higher Education Act Reauthorization of 1998. Title IV funds are awarded to a student under the assumption that the student will attend school for the entire period for which the federal assistance is awarded. The Financial Aid Office recalculates federal financial aid eligibility for students, who fail to attend, drop out, resign (officially or unofficially), or are dismissed prior to completing greater than 60% of the enrollment period.

If you are enrolled in a combination of modules for Summer 2024 and need to withdrawal/drop a course, please visit with a financial aid counselor in our office to determine the specific 60% date for your combination of modules.
NOTE: Summer enrollment levels are monitored daily. Dropping courses prior to the start of the module/course can result in lowering your enrollment level.
