Louisiana Tech partners with Discovery Education to launch online graduate courses to support Louisiana educators

Louisiana Tech University today announced the launch of four new online graduate courses designed to support current educators teaching in the online learning environment across the state of Louisiana. Created in partnership with Discovery Education, the global leader in standards-aligned digital curriculum resources, engaging content, and professional learning for K-12 classrooms, the four courses will lead to a graduate certificate in online teaching and learning and also apply toward a master’s degree.

In order to maintain appropriate physical distancing within the Thomas Assembly Center, graduates will be divided into two groups by colleges – Friday, Nov. 20, 6:30 p.m.: College of Business and College of Engineering and Science; and Saturday, Nov. 21, 10 a.m.: College of Applied and Natural Sciences, College of Education, and College of Liberal Arts. Tickets will be required to attend any of the weekend’s ceremonies.
