Seven COES students earn service-based cybersecurity scholarships
Seven students enrolled in Louisiana Tech University’s intensive Computer Science and Cyber Engineering programs have pledged to devote the first two years of their careers to helping the United States government combat cyber terrorism and improve its cyber defense mechanisms.

School of Agricultural Sciences and Forestry sponsors certification in slack water rescue
Louisiana Tech University’s School of Agricultural Sciences and Forestry will sponsor an opportunity for Louisiana Animal Responder certification in slack water training June 29-30 on South Campus at the Tech Farm. The 16-hour course will provide training and instruction for emergencies requiring animal search and rescue in slack-water conditions.
