Louisiana Tech University has a beautiful recreation facility that is home to the Lambright Sports and Wellness Center Aquatics Facility. It is furnished with an indoor 8-lane, 25 yard pool for competition and exercise purposes, as well as an outdoor leisure pool that is open from late spring to early fall.

We reserve the right to close any and all aquatics facilities due to weather and special events. Please check the weekly calendars posted in various places around the pool deck for detailed information.

The Lambright Sports and Wellness Center may be reserved for the following:
- An approved Tech Student organization
- Any group use (birthday party, sports team, etc) (fees will apply)
- Any not-for-profit group (schools, churches, etc.) (fees will apply)
All pool reservations have a separate fee that will be determined by group type, size, and duration of reservation.
Steps to request a rental:
- Contact the Aquatics office (318.257.4634).
- Select a time and date based on availability.
- Fill out required paperwork.
- Pay the required fee.
- The lifeguards and aquatics staff are in charge at all times.
- Proper swimwear is required. NO street clothes will be allowed in the pool (unless given special permission by the aquatics staff).
- Only US Coast Guard approved flotation devices may be used. Ask a staff member if your child needs a life vest.
- Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult who remains in the pool area.
- NO running.
- NO diving from the pool edge.
- A swimming test may be required before using the deep end or diving boards.
- Flotation devices cannot be used during a swim test or on the diving boards.
- Only one person on the diving board at a time.
- The lap swimming lanes are reserved for patrons swimming laps. Please do not cross over the lane lines.
- Profanity, abusive language, and inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
- Tobacco, alcohol, and glass containers are not allowed in the facility.
Currently we hire students to lifeguard, teach swim lessons, and coach swim team. Employment applications for aquatics staff are available at the front desk of the Lambright Sports and Wellness Center. For questions about employment opportunities please call the Aquatics office at 318.257.4634.

Bulldog Aquatic Club is a USA Swimming registered year-round swimming program that offers competitive swimming and swim lesson experiences. BAC has a partnership with the Lambright Sports & Wellness Center and Louisiana Tech University in which BAC pays Tech a usage fee in order to take advantage of the fantastic aquatic facility. The Lambright Sports & Wellness Center and BAC have been partners for over 10 years now, and BAC owes a lot of its growth and success in the state of Louisiana and around the country to Louisiana Tech University. Cameron Brandao, the Aquatic Coordinator here at the Lambright, is the Head Coach and Program Director for BAC in his spare time.
