Low Ropes Course

A low ropes course is a challenging outdoor personal development and team building activity which usually consists of low elements. These elements take place on the ground or only a few feet above the ground. High elements are usually constructed in trees or made of utility poles and require a belay for safety.

Specific activities and initiatives promote varying degrees of both individual and team problem solving and decision making. Participants learn to overcome the limitations and achieve an enhanced sense of self concept.

Louisiana Tech’s Low Ropes Course is located in Hideaway Park on Tech’s campus. For more information about scheduling a group reservation, please contact us at 318.257.2726.

Pavilion Rentals

Hideaway Park has several different sized pavilions located throughout the park. Some of the pavilions are equipped with electrical hookups, fire grills, and fire pits. These pavilions are able to be reserved for tailgating or any other event.
