Getting to Tech by car

From the north: Take Highway 167 south to I-20 west, exit 84. At the top of the exit ramp, turn left onto Tech Drive. Follow Tech Drive to campus. Turn left onto Railroad Avenue. Hale Hall, a three-story building with turrets, is the first brick building on Railroad Avenue. The Office of Admissions is on the first floor of Hale Hall. Visitor parking is available at the front of the building.

From the south: Take Highway 167 north to Ruston. Turn left on California Avenue. At the fifth stoplight, turn right on Tech Drive. Proceed down Tech Drive to Railroad Avenue and turn right. Hale Hall, a three-story building with turrets, is the first brick building on Railroad Avenue. The Office of Admissions is on the first floor of Hale Hall. Visitor parking is available at the front of the building.

From the east: Take I-20 west to Ruston, exit 84. At the top of the exit ramp, turn left onto Tech Drive. Follow Tech Drive to campus. Turn left onto Railroad Avenue. Please note: A parking permit is required for all vehicles parked on Tech’s campus. Visitors can pick up a parking permit at the Traffic Office, located in South Hall at the intersection of Hergot Avenue and Mayfield Street, between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. To get to the Traffic Office from California Avenue and Tech Drive, proceed down Tech Drive and turn right onto Hergot Avenue. To get to the Traffic Office from I-20 exit 84, proceed down Tech Drive and turn left onto Hergot Avenue (the street after the Barnett Springs Drive stoplight). South Hall is immediately on your left.

Getting to Tech by plane

Monroe Regional Airport is served by three commercial airlines: Delta, American, and United. Rental car service is available at the airport through Avis, Hertz, and National. Allow approximately 45 minutes driving time from the airport to Louisiana Tech.

The university is also served by Shreveport Regional Airport. Allow approximately 70 minutes driving time from Shreveport Regional Airport to Louisiana Tech. Shreveport is served by four commercial airlines: Allegiant, American, Delta, and United. Rental car service is available at Shreveport Regional Airport through Avis, Budget, Enterprise, National, and Thrifty.
