Louisiana Tech University was ranked No. 2 in Louisiana Best College Rankings 2022 by Niche. The University was the highest-ranked public institution in the state of Louisiana.

Fashion Merchandising students engage in new course
This past spring quarter, students had the opportunity to take Fashion Illustration and Design, a class born out of collaboration between Instructor Penny Humphries and Assistant Professor Whitney Causey of Louisiana Tech’s School of Design. The course introduces students to the basic elements of visual styling in design, figure drawing, and illustration.

Tuesday, the City of Ruston hosted Sen. Bill Cassidy at a groundbreaking for the federal RAISE-grant-funded construction of new pavement projects, drainage, sidewalks, and bike lanes that will connect Louisiana Tech to the city. The RAISE grant is worth $17.2 million and was awarded to the U.S. Department of Transportation.
