What is the Academic Success Center?

Through a unique partnership established with Bossier Parish Community College and the Cyber Innovation Center, Louisiana Tech University at the Academic Success Center (ASC) is bringing advanced educational programs and support for those programs to the National Cyber Research Park in Bossier City, LA. Future students can find assistance at the ASC with beginning their college journey; BPCC and other college students can find assistance for transferring credit hours to Louisiana Tech; and area residents can take courses in programs offered at the center. In addition to these means of student support, the ASC is a location that supports economic development and professional partnerships.

Where is the Academic Success Center?

The ASC is located in the National Cyber Research Park, in Building H of Bossier Parish Community College, 6220 E Texas Street, Bossier City LA 71111.

What classes are being offered at the ASC?

What are the ASC hours of operation?

The ASC is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

However, in the summer months, the ASC adjusts its hours to Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

I want to attend classes in Ruston. Can the ASC help?

What is the Veterans Resource Center?

The Veterans Resource Center (VRC) is a unique space that is developed out of collaboration with Bossier Parish Community College. The VRC is located on the fourth floor (office 412) of the ASC and is open to those veterans and family members who need assistance with attending school.

Can someone help me with my military education benefits?

Yes! The VRC has staff who can assist with military education benefits.

Can someone help me with advising?

Yes! The on-site staff at the ASC can assist with coordinating program advising for interested students.

Can someone help me with registration?

Yes! The on-site staff at the ASC can assist with using the online registration system.
