Tech announces shuttle service for upcoming fall and winter quarters
This fall quarter, construction and road work throughout the Enterprise Campus will mean that parking on the east side of the Louisiana Tech University campus is very limited.
Liberal Arts Dean presents at James Joyce Symposium in Dublin
Dr. Donald Kaczvinsky, the George E. Pankey Eminent Scholar in English and Dean of the College of Liberal Arts, delivered a paper at the 28th James Joyce Symposium, celebrating the 100th anniversary of the publication of Ulysses, referred to as one of the most important works in modernist literature, in Dublin, Ireland.

Sawyer to participate in 10th anniversary of Higgs boson discovery celebration at CERN
Dr. Lee Sawyer, Director of Louisiana Tech’s Chemistry and Physics programs and Professor of Physics, will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the discovery of the Higgs boson particle at the CERN (European Organization for Nuclear Research) Large Hadron Collider (LHC) on June 30. The celebration, coordinated by the United States LHC Users Association (USLUA), will feature distinguished guests and virtual tours.
Louisiana Tech faculty to present research at Biennial Reversal Theory Conference
Louisiana Tech University’s Dr. Mitzi Desselles, associate professor of Psychology and Behavioral Science, as well as several Louisiana Tech doctoral students and recent graduates, will be presenting their research at the 21st Biennial Reversal Theory Conference hosted by the University of Paris 8 in Paris, France.

The Band is getting back together: Look (and listen) for a new Alumni Band this fall
Metairie native Jessica Borne is passionate about Louisiana Tech’s Band of Pride. She played trumpet and served as a leader of the band, both as an upperclassman while she completed her BS in Accounting (2016) and as a graduate student in 2017 while she earned her Master of Accountancy.

Cyber Discovery Camp provides high school students with hands-on opportunities
