School of Communication to offer new master’s program
Louisiana Tech University will soon offer a new graduate program: a master’s degree in Communication Technologies. The program is not only the first of its kind in Louisiana, but it exists among only a handful of similar ones worldwide.

School of Design to host exhibition, performance from Abe Partridge
Louisiana Tech University’s School of Design will welcome visual artist and songwriter Abe Partridge for an exhibition and performance of his work at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 9 in the Bellocq Gallery of the F.J. Taylor Visual Arts Center. During the event, he will talk about his professional journey, perform original songs, and exhibit a selection of his paintings.

Business doctoral students honored for excellence in teaching and research
Louisiana Tech University’s College of Business recently recognized two Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) candidates at the annual Doctoral Student Reception. Bao Duong was presented with the DBA Outstanding Teaching Award and Abdulah Bajaba was presented with the DBA Outstanding Research Award.

Flight Team soars to Nationals after qualifying at Regionals
Louisiana Tech’s Precision Flight Team, a student organization that competes in National Intercollegiate Flying Association (NIFA) events, participated in its regional event in late October and performed well enough to qualify for the national competition at Ohio State University in May 2022.
