The event will feature a special recital with Nicole Chamberlain designed for flute players, composers, those interested in the music industry, and music lovers at 7 p.m. Sept. 28 in Howard Auditorium.

Center for Information Assurance launches Cyber Ways podcast to connect academia and industry
The Center for Information Assurance, housed in Louisiana Tech’s College of Business, launched The Cyber Ways podcast this week. Hosted by Dr. Craig Van Slyke and Dr. Tom Stafford, renowned Computer Information Systems faculty members, the podcast aims to translate academic cyber security research into practical and real-world application.

Louisiana Tech team works with Louisiana-based consortium to improve space flight energy storage systems
Dr. Shawn Chen, Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering for Louisiana Tech’s College of Engineering and Science and Institute for Micromanufacturing, and Dr. Kristopher Harris, Assistant Professor of Chemistry, have begun research into improved energy storage systems, making space flight safer for astronauts, and extending their potential exploration radius within the solar system.

Louisiana Tech listed among nation’s best in 2022 USNWR rankings
U.S. News & World Report (USNWR) has once again ranked Louisiana Tech University as a Top Tier National University in its 2022 Best Colleges list released today. Louisiana Tech was also ranked No. 140 on the USNWR list of Top Public Schools, up from 174 in the 2021 rankings.
