Chris Martin joined Louisiana Tech University in July 2015 as the Dean of the College of Business and the Chase Bank Professor of Management. During the prior 14 years he served as Dean of Centenary College’s Frost School of Business, the Linco Eminent Scholar Chair, and the founding director of the Center for Family Owned Business. Chris lectures, writes, and consults primarily on issues related to fairness concerns in organizations, executive leadership, innovation, family business, and the management of deviant behavior in organizations. His work has been published in numerous respected academic journals, textbooks, and in widely read resources for managers including the Harvard Business Review and Wall Street Journal. Chris received his Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior from the College of Management at Georgia Tech, his Masters from SMU, and undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University.
Chris is married to Shreveport native, Kathryn Kerlin Martin. They are the parents of three grown sons.
