  • Member of the Louisiana Board of Veterinary Medicine (Appointed in 1995 and served as president August 1, 2004 – August 1, 2009).  This prestigious state board regulates the practice of veterinary medicine and the goal is to protect the public  from unscrupulous veterinary practices. Meetings are held bi-monthly. (I was one of 3 nominees submitted to the governor in February 2009 for appointment to the board  in August 2009).
