Birthday Parties

Thank you for celebrating with us at Lambright Sports and Wellness Center where we bring the fun to you! Party Package Details

Each party will be provided with thirty supplies (drinks, plates, napkins, utensils, and ice cream). These items will be selected on the party supply form that will be sent with your confirmation email following booking. If you would like additional supplies, you can purchase 20 additional for $15. The designated party worker will set up and prepare everything for your party prior to your arrival. The party worker will also assist in cleaning up following your party. 

  • Cake
    • Our contract is with Super 1. You get the choice of 30 cupcakes, 3 cookie cakes, or a ½ sheet cake. However, the options are not always guaranteed due to Super 1’s inventory. If there is a change in options, we will contact you the Monday before your party. 
    • You may choose a theme for your cake or cookie cakes (cupcakes will only have selected color icing). Super 1 is able to print an edible picture onto the cake and allows three colors for icing.  You may send us a desired picture(s), or we can choose one for you.
  • Ice Cream
    • We provide Blue Bell Single Cups of chocolate and vanilla ice cream. The party worker will bring the ice cream when you let them know you are ready. Guests of your party can choose which flavor they would like. 
  • Drinks
    • Louisiana Tech University is a Pepsi product school. You get the option of a combination of sodas (Pepsi, Mountain Dew, and Sierra Mist), fruit shoots (juice drink), waters or a combination of two of these. 
  • Supplies
    • A variety of colors are available for your table cloths, plates, napkins, balloons, and candles. You can choose up to 5 colors that we will mix and match that will go along with the theme of your party. All of our supplies are solid colors.
    • We set up about 3 long, rectangular tables with chairs, and 1 table for cake and presents for each party unless more is requested if available that day. We will provide table cloths for the tables along with two sets of balloons. There will also be 30 plates, napkins, and utensils provided unless you purchase additional supplies. 
    • We will loan a lighter and cake cutter for you to use during your party. The party worker is responsible for ensuring that these are returned at the end of the reservation.
    • If you want to bring in additional decorations, you are responsible for the set up and take down of those things. Any pinatas, glitter or confetti is not permitted. Also, please note that you are not able to hang anything on the walls.

Party Areas

  • Indoor Pool
    • Without inflatable obstacle course – This consist of having the swimming pool and the diving board
    • With the inflatable obstacle course – Each guest will be required to pass a swim test to be able to access this feature. The swim test consists of swimming half the length of the pool without a life jacket. The inflatable obstacle course is not available on Fridays before 5:30pm and Sundays after 4:00pm.
    • We do not close off the entire pool for a party. By choosing the indoor pool, please be aware that there may be other patrons in the pool at the same time as your party. However, there will be designated lanes to keep your party separate from others. If the capacity limit were to be reached during your party, patrons in the pool not with your party will be asked to leave before your guests. 
    • There will be certified lifeguards on duty throughout your party.
    • Guests must adhere to pool rules while using the area such as no running on the pool deck and no food/drink allowed near the pool. 
    • Flotation devices that are not Coast Guard approved (must contain foam) will not be permitted in the pool. 
    • Any guest who is 10 years or younger must have a parent with them in the pool at all times, or may take a swim test. If they pass the swim test, they will receive a wristband. If they do not pass the swim test, they must wear a life jacket at all times. 
  • Outdoor Pool
    • We do not close off the entire pool for a party. By choosing the outdoor pool, please be aware that there may be other patrons in the pool at the same time as your party. However, there will be designated lanes to keep your party separate from others. If the capacity limit were to be reached during your party, patrons in the pool not with your party will be asked to leave before your guests.

  • Rock wall
    • Typically guests need to be 6 years of age or older weighing at least 50 pounds to fit into the harness.
    • Each guest must wear closed-toed shoes and have their hair pulled back. If someone does not have closed-toed shoes, climbing shoes are available upon request at our equipment desk. 
    • Approximately 4-6 people can climb on the rock wall at a time. 
    • There will be a certified rock wall worker for this area. There will be a list of rules given by our Rockwall worker before climbing. 
  • Bounce House Inflatables
    • There are two bounce house inflatables that we set up for each party. One is a traditional style inflatable and the other is an obstacle course style inflatable. 
    • The bounce house inflatables are set up in one of our basketball gyms.
    • There are no shoes allowed inside the bounce house inflatables. 
  • Bowling Alley
    • There are 6 lanes in the bowling alley. When you book a bowling party, you get the entire bowling alley to yourself. 
    • Each guest must have socks, but we provide bowling shoes in all sizes that must be worn at all times while bowling. 
    • To assist younger children, we have bumpers on the lanes as well as dinosaur ramps upon request. 
    • There is also a glow-in-the-dark feature upon request. 
    • There is a lower area in the bowling center where the tables and chairs will be set up for your party.  No food or drinks may leave this designated area.  
  • Paintball
    • Paintball is for children 10 years and older.
    • Paintball parties are at a higher rate of $350 for the two hours.
    • We provide all of the paintball equipment including guns, ammo, and face shields. 
    • Party is responsible for any lost or damaged equipment.
    • Paintball is set up in our blue basketball gym with inflatable bunkers as the course.
    • Guests will be briefed on the rules of the game as well as safety by the party worker.
  • Nerf
    • There is no age limit for Nerf parties.
    • We do not provide any equipment such as Nerf guns and bullets.
    • Nerf is set up in our blue basketball gym with inflatable bunkers as the course. 
    • Guests will be briefed on the rules of the game as well as safety by the party worker.
  • Inflatable Mini Putt-Putt
    • Guests must be 10 years or older.
    • Putt-Putt parties are at a higher rate of $350 for the two hours.
    • We will provide the putters, golf balls and score cards.
    • Party is responsible for any lost or damaged equipment.
    • Guests will be briefed on the rules of the game as well as safety by the party worker. 
  • Sports
    • This can be your choice of volleyball, basketball, soccer, and/or dodgeball. 
    • We provide the equipment, but there are no regulated rules or referees. 
    • If you would like to bring your own sports balls, you may do so. 

Pricing / Payments

Pricing for specific areas is listed below.  You can choose up to two activities for your party. A birthday party package includes two hours: however, you may add an additional hour for $50 upon availability.

A down payment of $100 is due at the time of booking. You can pay the down payment over the phone or in person. The remaining balance of your party can be paid the day of your party. If paying by card, there is a 2% service charge. If paying by check, you can make it payable to Louisiana Tech. Please note we do not accept any cash. 

Policies and Guidelines

  • Every participant must adhere to all Lambright Sports and Wellness Center rules and regulations.
  • There will be an allotted 30 minutes minimum in between parties for cleanup and setup if another party follows. 
  • There must be at least one parent/guardian with the party at all times.
  • Absolutely no cooking is allowed on premises including but not limited to grills, crockpots, food warmers, etc. 
  • Outside food and/or drinks is permitted as long as it is already prepared (e.g. pizza, sandwich trays, fruit/vegetable trays, chips, party favor bags etc.)
  • The party will be responsible for any fees if anything is damaged or stolen. 
  • All food and drinks must stay in the designated food and drink area during the duration of your party. If there are any spills or messes, please notify the party worker immediately.

What to Expect on Party Day

The host of the party may arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before the party start time unless otherwise requested and time allows. Upon arrival, the host of the party needs to check in at the front desk to sign the risk agreement and pay the remaining balance. Once paperwork and payment are taken care of, the party worker will direct you to your designated area. 

When guests arrive, they will need to sign in at the front desk and receive their wristbands. If a parent is just dropping their child off, they will need to come inside and sign the child in and get them to the party area. 

Your designated party area will be set up for you prior to arrival by your party worker. The party worker will also be there throughout the party to assist you with anything you may need. Cake, ice cream, and presents are typically done at the end of the party. Once you are ready, please notify the party worker and they will go get the ice cream. 

Once your party is over, you may collect your belongings and the party worker will help assist you with anything you need taken to your car.  We have carts available upon request to transport items.  

Lambright Sports and Wellness Center is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.

How to Book Your Birthday Party

To book a birthday party, please fill out the reservation application. Once your application is received, please allow at least 48 hours for our party coordinator to review your application.  If the date and time you requested is available, your party will be booked and you will receive a confirmation email.  If the date and time you requested is not available, you will receive an email for an option to choose another date/time. Parties are only available on Friday afternoon, Saturday and Sunday.  We do not accept reservation applications the week of the requested party date. Reservations are booked on a first come, first served basis and will be booked in the order that the applications are received.
