Telecommunications

The Telecommunications Department provides support to the University for traditional telephone services. Act 1097 of the 1997 Regular Session statutorily established the Office of Telecommunications Management within the State of Louisiana Division of Administration.  The Office of Telecommunications Management is responsible for competitive procurement of telecommunications systems and services for agencies of the State of Louisiana.  Louisiana Tech University has been granted delegated authority for station adds, moves, and deletes.

The Telecommunications Department at Louisiana Tech University maintains sets and internal wiring for telephone and telephone related services.

Requests for Adds, Moves, Deletions, and Changes should be made to 318.257.3525.

The Faculty and Staff Telephone Directory is printed in November each year from records maintained in the Human Resources Office.
