The overall mission of the Center for Instructional Technology (CIT) is to provide
faculty with training and support in the use of academic technologies that improve
teaching and learning.

CIT is the campus resource for training and support of the Moodle course management
system. Additionally, the center designs and deploys QuickMedia and SmartClassrooms,
as well as provides faculty training in the use of emerging classroom technologies.
CIT also manages the campus’ multiple compressed video classrooms and administrative
videoconferencing facilities.

As the campus advocate for the use of instructional technology, CIT achieves its mission
by introducing educational technologies that advance teaching and learning by providing
programs and resources to faculty that promote the effective use of classroom technology.

Center for Instructional Technology is located on the 10th floor of Prescott Memorial
Library in Wyly Tower.
