Policy 1405 – Evaluation of Administrators

Responsible Office: Office of the President / Provost, Vice Presidents of Each Division

Faculty and unclassified staff members will have formal opportuni­ty annually to evaluate
anonymously their immediate supervisor. The cumulative evaluation will be forwarded
to that administrator and that administrator’s direct supervisor. The Dean, Director,
Vice President, or Provost will conduct an annual evaluation of each administrator
under his/her direct supervision and will notify the administrator in writing of the
summary of the evaluation. The primary uses of the evaluations will be to assess performance,
to determine areas needing improvement, and to provide the basis for employment decisions
such as merit increases, promotion, and continuation.
