Admission Requirements – Readmission

You are a readmission student if you fall under the following category:

  • a student who has previously attended Louisiana Tech under full student status (if you were enrolled as a visiting student, including for dual enrollment, you do not qualify for readmission and must complete a full application; please see categories listed above)
  • a student who has previously earned a degree from Louisiana Tech and who wishes to pursue a second undergraduate degree

If it has only been one quarter since you last attended Louisiana Tech, you must complete a one-quarter readmission form which can be found on the readmission web page (see the link below). Otherwise, you must fill out the full application again. Along with your application for admission and application fee, you must submit the following items to the Office of Admissions:

  • official transcripts from each college institution attended between the last quarter you were enrolled at Louisiana Tech and now

You must request your own transcripts. Louisiana Tech will not request them for you. Transcripts must be sent directly from the institution to Louisiana Tech; and you must list all institutions attended. There is no need to request a transcript, however, for credit earned at Louisiana Tech, as we already have this information on file.
