- qualify for Pell Grant as determined by the Department of Education; and
- maintain continuing academic eligibility for federal financial aid; and
- have a cost of attendance greater than the financial aid that they have accepted; and
- have not declined federal financial aid (other than Parent PLUS); and
- have no other scholarships or waivers that cover the same fee increases.

- be charged the fees that the waiver applies to; and

Other Guidelines
- The cost of attendance must be greater than the amount that may be available to the student from all forms of financial assistance.

Duration
- The waiver is applicable to fall, winter, and spring quarters and is revalued on a quarterly basis based on any relevant tuition and fee changes.
- Summer quarter waivers are not available.
Awarding Process
The Financial Aid Office will award hardship waivers to needy students as funds are available based on a first-come-first serve basis in the order that financial aid was processed.
Retention
The student must continue to meet the criteria each quarter to receive the waiver. The waiver will be in effect for the three quarters of fall, winter, and spring.
Notification Process
Students will be notified by email and will be instructed to accept the award prior to a disbursement of funds.
