Applications will not be considered for admission until all required documentation has been submitted. All application materials become the property of the University. Neither the document(s) nor copies of the document(s) will be made available for future use other than for the purpose for which they were collected and cannot be returned.
Each academic college has the prerogative to be more restrictive and to establish higher admission standards. Applicants are encouraged to check college requirements for specific degree programs.

We are excited to announce the implementation of our new online Graduate Application process beginning July 1, 2015. The current application system will be disabled on June 26, 2015 as no further applications will be processed through this system. Please return on July 1, 2015 to begin your Graduate School application.
For applications submitted prior to July 1, 2015, a hard copy of your application and transcripts will be maintained in the Graduate School for a minimum of one year. If you submitted your application prior to July 1, 2015 and need assistance, please contact the Graduate School at firstname.lastname@example.org.

- Submit application and pay processing fee to Graduate School with all supporting documentation by deadline.
- Application materials will be reviewed by the Graduate School. Applicant will be notified by the Graduate School if any documentation is missing.
- Credentials are forwarded to the college/department for review. Decision is made by the college and admission recommendation returned to the Graduate School for further processing.
- The Graduate School notifies applicant of decision regarding application status. An international student that has completed the application process and been admitted to Louisiana Tech, an I-20 will be issued at the appropriate time. Internationals within the USA should contact the International Student Office for I-20 information.
The Louisiana Privacy Act of 1974 prohibits us from releasing any information concerning a student's application over the telephone, or to anyone but the student unless prior written permission is given by the applicant listing identity information and name of the person to whom the Graduate School may release information regarding the applicant's status.
