International and US Permanent Residents Application Deadlines

Applications for admission to the Graduate School should be submitted by the dates listed below. Some degree programs have earlier application deadlines and specific admission requirements such as interviews or performances that occur at particular points prior to the enrollment Quarter. Therefore, it is important that you contact the program or College to determine if you have missed any of these important admission requirements. There is no guarantee that a late applicant will be admitted and/or allowed to enroll for the desired Quarter and it may be necessary to delay entry into a program or miss enrollment in a specific course.

Admission to Graduate School does not necessarily mean admission into a specific degree program. Official admission notification will be mailed to each student by the Graduate School. Each offered admission is specific for the Quarter stated in the admission letter. If you do not register for classes or complete your first quarter of enrollment, you should notify the Registrar and obtain information regarding any subsequent enrollment. Any credentials still missing by the end of the first complete term of enrollment will result in no graduate credit being issued, and an official Tech transcript will not be provided to the student. No further graduate enrollment will be permitted.

International and US Permanent Resident application deadlines have been established to provide applicants sufficient time for processing the application and obtaining I-20 immigration papers. Internationals or US Permanent Residents applying after these dates may not receive an admission decision in time to enter a program in the desired Quarter.

Proof of English proficiency must be presented at the time of initial application for the applicant to be considered for admission. TOEFL or IELTS test scores must not be older than 2 years. ELS 112 Certificates may be substituted for TOEFL or IELTS test scores as proof of English proficiency.
