– Most of the Library’s circulating books are located on the 5th-9th floors.
– After writing down the book’s call number, use the Floor Directory to determine where the book is located.
– The Floor Directory is accessible from the library website and on all floors in the Library.
– For example . . . the book, Folk and Styled Architecture in North Louisiana, which has the call number NA730.L8 M37 1989, is located on the 7th floor.
– Or if the call number begins with REF, the book will be located on the Main floor in the Reference Collection.
– The most important part of this process is to write down the complete call number since it acts as the book’s “address.”
– Once you click the book’s URL in the online Catalog, a new window or tab will open.
– Click View this eBook beside the small cover the book.
– The screen will open with the Table of Contents on the left and book pages on the right.
– When you click a part of the Table of Contents, the accompanying book page will appear.
– Use the tool bar above the page to navigate, save or print the information
– If you are off-campus, the University login screen will appear and you will need to log on as you would for Canvas.
– Please note that if someone else is accessing the book, it will not be available to view. You will need to wait for awhile and try to access it once again.
