Honors Housing

Freshman Honors Housing is located in Dudley suites; the rooms are suite style and do not share a community bathroom.

Because Louisiana Tech University has some of the finest student housing in the South, the apartment-style suites are in great demand. Upperclassmen in the Honors Program may stay in the suites in Park Place (Jenkins). Dudley suite residents will also have a chance to room in the apartments after their first year. For the housing renewal process in the spring, those Jenkins residents and Dudley suite residents who meet the requirement will be given a housing profile which will allow them to see and possibly select the Jenkins apartments for the next year.

 Students may continue to room in Honors Housing as long as they:

  • Maintain a cumulative GPA of at least a 3.3;
  • Take at least six hours of Honors credit a year or have finished the program;
  • Follow the rules and regulations dictated by the Housing Office.

Students who do not meet these criteria will be informed that their places must be vacated for the following school year. The Honors Program is not responsible for finding these students new accommodations.
