Student Organizations

Purpose

The purpose shall be the advancement of competitive robotics and S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) in the community and on Louisiana Tech University’s campus by designing, building, testing, competing, and marketing robots for the VEX U competition as well as participating in outreach programs and local events.

Membership requirements

The definition of membership includes, but is not limited to, the following: attending member only meetings, responsible for helping with organization functions, assisting and leading subteams, and attending competitions. This is strictly an undergraduate/graduate student organization. No special memberships are available.

* All student organizations have a minimum GPA requirement of 2.0 for general membership and 2.5 for Executive Officers.
